When looking to treat your pet from common parasites, there are many options available, but it is important to be aware of all the similarities and differences before choosing the one that’s right for your dog or cat.
Credelio chewable tablets and Comfortis tablets provide month-long coverage against fleas (Ctenocephalides canis), killing adult fleas before they can lay eggs and helping to break the breeding cycle.
Credelio also treats and controls infestations of ticks including the LoneStar tick (Amblyomma Americanum), American dog tick (Dermacentorvariabilis), black-legged tick (Ixodes scapularis) and brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
Credelio is safe for dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 4.4 lbs (2kg). It is a canine-only formula and should not be given to cats.
Comfortis is available for both dogs and cats. Comfortis should only be administered to dogs over 14 weeks, weighing at least 5 lbs (2.3kg), and cats over 14 weeks, weighing at least 4.1 lbs (1.9kg).
